About the Role

As a To-Go Specialist you serve as the friendly face of our take‑out service, ensuring guests receive accurate orders promptly and with the warm hospitality Cracker Barrel is known for. This part‑time position supports the smooth operation of the To-Go area during peak dining times.

What You'll Do

• Greet To-Go guests with a courteous welcome and verify order details.
• Answer incoming phone calls and online order inquiries, entering information correctly into the point‑of‑sale system.
• Prepare, package, and label food items according to menu specifications and safety standards.
• Process payments, provide change, and issue receipts while maintaining cash‑handling accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized To-Go station, including wiping surfaces, restocking supplies, and adhering to sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen and dining room staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve any discrepancies.
• Follow all company policies, including food safety, alcohol service (if applicable), and workplace safety procedures.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service, food service, or retail is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help guests.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while staying attentive to detail.
• Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
