Technical Writer

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company is seeking a Technical Writer to join our team in La Cienega, Santa Fe County. In this full-time position, you will create and maintain precise, user-centered technical documentation for enterprise IT operations and mission-critical systems within a federally regulated environment.

About the Role

As Technical Writer, you will be the essential link between complex technical systems and the teams who operate them. Your documentation will enable engineers, analysts, and service owners to deliver reliable IT service management and support mission-critical operations across federal services. You'll work within a collaborative environment where clear communication directly impacts operational success and compliance.

What You'll Do

• Develop, edit, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for enterprise IT systems, ITSM processes, and operational procedures
• Partner with engineers, systems analysts, process owners, and service owners to capture requirements and translate technical concepts into clear, accurate documentation
• Collaborate with the ITIL Specialist and Service and Integration Management team to ensure documentation aligns with organizational standards and best practices
• Create user-focused guides, procedure manuals, system architecture documentation, and reference materials
• Review and refine existing documentation for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style standards
• Ensure all materials comply with federal documentation and accessibility requirements

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience writing technical documentation for IT operations, systems administration, or ITSM environments
• Strong ability to distill complex technical information into clear, organized, and user-friendly content
• Proficiency with technical documentation tools and platforms
• Excellent research and communication skills
• Familiarity with ITIL, IT service management, or enterprise IT systems is a plus
• Experience in a federally regulated or compliance-heavy environment preferred
