About the Role
As Technical Project Manager at Ekman Associates, you'll oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple technical and business initiatives. You'll act as the central hub connecting teams across consulting, staffing, recruiting, and managed services engagements, ensuring projects stay on track, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives.
What You'll Do
- Plan and manage timelines, budgets, and resources for concurrent projects
- Identify risks, remove blockers, and adapt plans to keep initiatives on schedule and on budget
- Collaborate with technical teams, clients, and executives to define scope and success criteria
- Track progress through data and reporting; communicate status and outcomes to leadership
- Mentor team members and foster accountability across project teams
- Improve delivery processes and share best practices across the organization
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years managing technical or complex cross-functional projects
- Mastery of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches)
- Strong leadership and communication skills across all organizational levels
- Comfort with data, metrics, and project management tools for tracking and reporting
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to perform under pressure
- Experience in professional services, staffing, consulting, or managed services preferred
