Tax Preparer

Jth Tax Llc is looking for a full-time Tax Preparer to join our North Las Vegas, Clark County office. In this role, you'll prepare accurate tax returns for individuals and small businesses while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced tax preparation environment.

About the Role

This full-time position offers the opportunity to help clients navigate their tax filing obligations while building expertise in tax law and compliance. You'll work closely with the Office Supervisor to ensure every return meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and file tax returns for individuals and small business clients
• Review client financial documents and gather necessary information for accurate tax preparation
• Calculate deductions, credits, and tax liability according to current tax code
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Provide clear explanations of tax strategies and filing requirements to clients
• Maintain detailed records and documentation for each client engagement
• Stay informed of changes to tax laws and regulations affecting your clients
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout the tax preparation process

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong understanding of individual and small business tax principles
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in numerical work
• Ability to work efficiently under deadline pressure during tax season
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to staying current with tax regulations and industry best practices
• High school diploma or GED required; tax preparation certification or accounting background preferred
