Hantz Group is seeking a Tax Planning Specialist to join our Marquette, Marquette County office. In this full-time role, you'll help individuals and businesses develop strategic tax solutions that optimize their financial outcomes and align with their long-term goals.

As a Tax Planning Specialist at Hantz Group, you'll be at the center of our comprehensive financial services practice, working alongside experienced professionals to deliver customized solutions. You'll take a consultative approach to understanding each client's situation and crafting tax strategies that make a real difference in their bottom line.

What You'll Do

• Analyze client financial situations to identify tax planning opportunities and risks
• Design comprehensive tax strategies for individuals and business owners
• Prepare detailed tax planning recommendations and implementation roadmaps
• Monitor tax law changes and regulatory updates to keep strategies current
• Coordinate with other specialists to integrate tax planning with broader financial goals
• Present complex tax concepts to clients in clear, actionable terms
• Maintain compliance with tax regulations and professional standards

What We're Looking For

• Solid foundation in federal and state tax planning principles
• Track record working with both individual and business clients
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Meticulous attention to detail in financial analysis and documentation
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Professional accounting or financial services designation (CPA, CFP, or similar) valued
• Commitment to continuous learning in a changing tax environment
