What This Role Involves
The Superintendent will oversee all aspects of construction projects during the evening shift. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and maintaining quality control standards.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of construction workers to ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and timetables
- Inspect work areas for safety hazards and enforce safety procedures
- Conduct site meetings with team members to discuss progress and address issues
- Prepare and maintain detailed records of daily activities, including time sheets and material requisitions
What You'll Do
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of construction projects during the evening shift. This includes but is not limited to:
- Ensuring all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations
- Maintaining open communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Managing budgets and schedules to ensure project completion within specified timelines
- Addressing any issues that arise during construction and finding solutions to keep the project on track
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or related role in the construction industry
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Knowledgeable in OSHA regulations and safety procedures
- PMP certification is a plus
