The Opportunity

PAM is seeking a Summer Student to join our team as we embark on an exciting journey through human history and archaeology. This role will be based full-time in Auckland, New Zealand, providing you with the opportunity to contribute to our commitment to outstanding management of world-class collections and engaging content development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the curation and display of historical artifacts and archaeological finds
• Support research projects related to human history and archaeology
• Help organize and maintain museum collections
• Contribute to the development and delivery of educational programs and exhibitions
• Assist with data entry, documentation, and cataloging tasks

Qualifications

• A passion for human history and archaeology
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Basic knowledge of museum operations or related field is preferred but not required
