About the Role
As a Substitute Custodian, you'll provide essential facility maintenance and cleaning services wherever needed across our school campuses. This substitute role offers the opportunity to support our educational mission by ensuring every building stays operationally sound and hygienic. The position is compensated at $18.86 per hour.
What You'll Do
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces
- Operate and maintain custodial equipment and supplies safely and effectively
- Empty and replace trash and recycling containers throughout assigned areas
- Identify and report maintenance issues or facility concerns to supervisory staff
- Respond promptly to immediate facility needs and emergency cleanup situations
- Follow established cleaning protocols and institutional safety standards
- Maintain organized inventory and proper storage of custodial materials

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
