About the Role

As a Strategic SaaS Sales Engineer, you'll partner with our sales team to accelerate opportunity progression and close complex deals. You'll be the technical bridge between prospects' business challenges and Commvault's platform capabilities, translating customer needs into compelling technical solutions that drive adoption and expansion.

What You'll Do

• Conduct technical demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements tailored to enterprise customer requirements
• Develop technical and business justifications that address customer pain points and ROI concerns
• Partner with sales teams to identify, qualify, and advance strategic opportunities across the region
• Design solution architectures aligned with customer infrastructure, compliance, and operational goals
• Provide pre-sales technical support throughout the sales cycle, from initial discovery through contract closure
• Build lasting relationships with key technical decision-makers and stakeholders
• Stay current on SaaS market trends, competitive landscape, and Commvault's product roadmap

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of sales engineering, solutions architecture, or enterprise technical sales experience
• Proven track record closing complex, strategic SaaS deals in the data management or infrastructure space
• Strong technical foundation in cloud platforms, data protection, systems administration, or related domains
• Excellent communication skills—able to translate technical concepts for business audiences and vice versa
• Consultative mindset with the ability to understand customer strategy and articulate business value
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment across multiple time zones
• Experience with enterprise sales cycles, deal complexity, and multi-stakeholder negotiations
