Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

Ghost is hiring a Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to join our finance organization in Los Angeles, California — a full-time, in-office opportunity for a finance leader who blends investment banking depth with real operating instincts.

About the Role

As Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will act as a strategic finance partner across Ghost, owning our operating model, rolling forecasts, daily cash flow projections, and financial reporting. We are looking for someone with capital markets fluency, analytical discipline, and sharp business judgment — ideally with consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience — who thrives in a fast-moving startup.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive annual budgeting, long-range planning, and rolling forecasts across every business unit, supporting monthly variance analysis and leadership reviews.
• Build and maintain a driver-based, bottoms-up 3-statement operating model and deliver executive- and board-ready reporting packages.
• Define and monitor KPIs, unit economics, and operating metrics in partnership with business leads.
• Support our Series D raise, working capital and inventory financing, debt capital markets transactions, covenant compliance, and lender relationships.
• Manage treasury operations, including daily cash forecasting, liquidity planning, and banking partnerships.
• Advance the FP&A AI roadmap — deploying agentic workflows for forecasting, anomaly detection, automated commentary, dashboards, and close automation atop a single source of truth.
• Collaborate with the CEO, CFO, and Board on strategic planning, capital allocation, corporate development, and investor due diligence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of finance experience, including a minimum of 3 years at a bulge bracket investment bank with capital markets execution, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of FP&A experience at a Series B or mid-stage retail or CPG company strongly preferred.
• Hands-on background in 3-statement modeling, scenario analysis, and driver-based frameworks; exposure to Series C+ equity raises, debt facilities, and treasury operations is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, fast-moving, ownership-driven, and team-first.
