Vending Technician

Join Sodexo as a Vending Technician at our Santa Fe Springs location in Los Angeles County. In this full-time position, you'll keep our customer base satisfied by maintaining, restocking, and servicing a fleet of vending machines across multiple facilities.

About the Role

As a Vending Technician, you're the backbone of our vending operations. You'll work varying shifts with flexible scheduling—open availability is preferred. This hands-on position combines inventory management, equipment maintenance, and customer service to ensure every machine is stocked, functioning properly, and generating revenue.

What You'll Do

• Regularly stock, fill, and maintain assigned vending machines with beverages, snacks, and other products
• Collect revenue from machines and reconcile cash and card transactions
• Perform routine equipment checks, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to keep machines operational
• Identify mechanical issues and report problems requiring professional service
• Maintain clean, organized machine exteriors and internal compartments
• Manage inventory levels and reorder stock as needed
• Provide friendly service to customers and respond to inquiries or concerns
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift, carry, and move items regularly (up to 50 lbs)
• Basic mechanical understanding and hands-on problem-solving skills
• Strong reliability and punctuality
• Customer-focused mindset and professional demeanor
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Compensation & Schedule

This full-time position offers a competitive pay range of $23–$31 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Shift availability varies; during your interview, we'll discuss specific hours and scheduling that match your availability.
