Strategic Account Executive – Meritain Pharmacy Solutions

CVS Health is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to manage and grow key pharmacy solutions accounts in the Phoenix, Maricopa County area. In this full-time role, you'll drive business development, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to the expansion of our pharmacy services across the region.

About the Role

As a Strategic Account Executive for Meritain Pharmacy Solutions at CVS Health, you'll own the relationship with major pharmacy accounts, identifying growth opportunities and delivering solutions that drive client success and measurable outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Manage a strategic book of pharmacy accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for account management and problem resolution
• Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and develop targeted strategies to increase market penetration
• Present pharmacy solutions and service offerings to prospective clients and stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal teams—including clinical, operations, and finance—to deliver coordinated solutions
• Track account performance metrics and prepare regular business reviews that demonstrate value and ROI
• Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting pharmacy services
• Work toward revenue and account growth targets while maintaining service quality and client satisfaction

What We're Looking For

• Proven success in account management, business development, or pharmaceutical sales
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder relationships and navigating healthcare organizations
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to influence at executive levels
• Demonstrated ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and develop strategic plans
• Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools
• Detail-oriented approach to compliance and accuracy in healthcare settings
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in sales, business development, or pharmacy-related field
