Store Production Team Member

Join the team at Savers | Value Village as a Store Production Team Member in Barrie, Simcoe region. We're seeking a full-time team member to help us sort, process, and prepare thousands of donated items that find new homes every day.

Role Overview

As a Store Production Team Member at our Barrie location, you'll be the backbone of our operations, ensuring donated clothing, accessories, and household goods are properly assessed, cleaned, priced, and displayed for our customers. Your work directly supports our mission to champion reuse and make secondhand shopping the natural choice. This is a hands-on, full-time position where you'll work in our production area, taking pride in the quality and presentation of every item that reaches the sales floor.

Core Duties

• Receive, sort, and organize donations of pre-owned clothing, accessories, and household items
• Inspect donated goods for quality, condition, and wear; remove unsuitable items
• Clean, repair, and prepare merchandise for display
• Apply pricing and security tags according to company standards
• Organize and stock items in designated store sections
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
• Work collaboratively with the sales floor and management teams

Skills & Qualifications

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and sort items regularly throughout your shift
• Reliable, punctual attendance and willingness to work scheduled hours
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
• Basic organizational and time-management skills
• Experience in retail, warehouse, or production roles is a plus but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
