About This Position

As a Stocking Team Associate at Walmart in Boone, you're a key member of our operations team. In this full-time role, you'll work in a fast-paced retail setting where attention to detail, physical stamina, and teamwork are essential. You'll earn an hourly wage of $15 to $28 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications, plus potential performance incentives. Whether receiving merchandise, stocking shelves, managing inventory, or ensuring our store is well-organized, your work directly impacts how customers experience our store and find the products they need.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Receive incoming merchandise, verify against shipping documents, and prepare items for placement on shelves
• Stock shelves and displays with merchandise, ensuring products are organized, clearly priced, and easily accessible to customers
• Maintain inventory accuracy by rotating stock, marking expiration dates where applicable, and reporting discrepancies
• Keep stockroom and sales floor clean, organized, and safe in compliance with company standards and safety guidelines
• Use store equipment and technology to scan, track, and manage merchandise as part of daily operations
• Assist customers and respond to questions about product locations and availability when on the sales floor
• Work collaboratively with fellow team members to meet store stocking targets and opening or closing procedures

What You Bring

• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise regularly, including items of varying weights and sizes
• Comfort standing, walking, and working throughout a full shift
• Reliability and a commitment to consistent attendance and punctuality
• Basic reading and communication skills to understand instructions, labels, and communicate with your team
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
• Prior retail or warehouse experience is a plus but not required
