Join Epic Special Education Staffing as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year in Satsuma, Texas. We're seeking a dedicated SLP assistant to support speech and language services in our school community.
About the Role
Epic Special Education Staffing partners with schools to deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology support. As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you'll work directly with students who have communication and swallowing disorders, supporting licensed SLPs in providing evidence-based interventions and classroom-based communication strategies.
What You'll Do
- Assist licensed SLPs with individual and group speech-language therapy sessions
- Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, and language development goals
- Implement treatment plans and therapeutic activities under SLP supervision
- Document student progress, participation, and outcomes during sessions
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to school health and safety standards
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
- Reinforce communication strategies in educational settings as directed by the SLP
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED/HSD)
- SLPA certification or state eligibility for speech-language pathologist assistant credentials
- Experience supporting students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Strong communication and collaborative interpersonal skills
- Commitment to confidentiality and student welfare
- Reliable, professional demeanor with consistent attendance
- Ability to support diverse learners in school environments
