About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Special Ed Aide to join our team at Walnut Springs Elementary. This full-time position offers a salary range of $20.35 - $26.95 per hour, with no remote option available.
- Support students with special needs in the classroom and during school activities
- Assist teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment for all students
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed by the teacher or special education staff
- Provide one-on-one support to ensure student safety and well-being
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to address student needs
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
The Special Ed Aide will be responsible for providing direct support to students with special needs. This includes assisting in the classroom, helping with daily routines, and ensuring that all activities are accessible and inclusive. You will work closely with teachers and other staff members to implement IEPs and provide one-on-one support as needed.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual who has a passion for making a difference in the lives of students with special needs. You should have excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively, and possess strong organizational abilities. A background in education or related field is preferred but not required.
