Position Summary
At Remitly, we are seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join our IHUB team. As part of this dynamic and innovative environment, you will contribute to the development of secure, simple, and reliable solutions for global money transfers. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions for global remittance services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative features and improve existing systems.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure the highest standards of quality.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Identify and implement performance optimizations to enhance system efficiency and scalability.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience in a full-stack or backend role.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience with database design and management, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced environment.
