About This Position

The Shore Services Assistant role is a permanent part-time position with Fullers360 in Penrose, Auckland, New Zealand. As an assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the shore team and ensuring smooth operations during ferry departures and arrivals.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking processes
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures
• Support in the management of passenger flow and queuing systems
• Contribute to the overall customer service experience on shore
• Participate in daily briefings and updates from the team leader

Qualifications

• A strong sense of customer service and a commitment to passenger satisfaction
• Basic knowledge of safety procedures and emergency protocols
• Ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required
