About the Role

As an Instacart full-service shopper, you handle the complete delivery cycle: selecting quality produce and items from local stores, finding customer-approved alternatives when products aren't available, checking out securely, and delivering orders directly to customer homes. You'll work independently using the Instacart app to manage your assignments, communicate with customers, and track earnings in real time.

What You'll Do

• Select fresh produce, pantry staples, and other grocery items from store shelves based on customer orders
• Communicate with customers through the app to confirm substitutions or answer questions about their order
• Complete transactions at checkout with attention to accuracy and security
• Pack groceries carefully to prevent damage during transport
• Deliver completed orders to customer addresses in a timely, professional manner
• Respond to customer requests and provide friendly service when making deliveries
• Control your own schedule—accept shifts that align with your availability

What We're Looking For

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid ID
• Own reliable transportation and a smartphone with internet access
• Physical ability to safely lift, carry, and transport grocery items
• Attention to detail when picking items and packing orders
• Comfort communicating with customers via app and in person
• No retail or delivery experience required—willingness to learn is what matters
