The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Shift Supervisor Raise Drilling to join our team at Dishaba Mine in Thabazimbi, Limpopo. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the effective management and supervision of drilling operations.

What You'll Do

• Effective planning, organising, control, and monitoring of raise drilling activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager Raise Drilling to align operations with project goals and objectives.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to optimize drilling efficiency.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory role within the mining industry, preferably involving raise drilling operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations relevant to the mining sector.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management and stakeholder engagement.
