Shift Manager

McDonald's is hiring a full-time Shift Manager to lead operations at our Brenham, Washington County location. As a Shift Manager, you'll drive operational excellence by supervising crew and management staff, maintaining our commitment to Quality, Service, and Comfort (QSC), and ensuring a safe, profitable, and welcoming environment for both customers and team members.

About the Role

As a Shift Manager at McDonald's, you are the on-duty leader responsible for every aspect of shift operations. You'll oversee crew performance, manage staffing and resources, and make decisions that directly impact customer satisfaction and restaurant profitability. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll work alongside your team while upholding McDonald's standards for quality, safety, and service.

What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise crew and management staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Plan each shift and allocate resources to meet operational demands
• Monitor performance and take corrective action to maintain McDonald's QSC standards
• Ensure compliance with food safety, security, and health regulations throughout the shift
• Track and optimize labor costs and profitability metrics
• Communicate handoff information clearly to the next shift manager
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues to maintain satisfaction
• Train and coach crew members to develop their skills and confidence

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in restaurant operations or shift leadership
• Strong organizational and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Commitment to food safety and customer service excellence
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and restaurant management tools
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
