Shift Lead

Join WALGREENS as a Shift Lead in Collier, Allegheny County, where you'll manage store operations and lead our team during opening and closing hours. As Shift Lead, you'll oversee daily functions when store management is unavailable, ensuring excellent customer service and operational excellence.

About the Role

The Shift Lead position is a full-time opportunity to manage critical store operations and provide leadership during your assigned shifts. You'll be responsible for maintaining smooth daily operations, leading by example, and supporting your team members in delivering outstanding service to our customers.

What You'll Do

• Execute complete opening procedures, including system initialization and preparing retail areas
• Manage closing operations, system shutdowns, and secure all cash handling
• Coordinate and receive incoming deliveries, including facility access as needed
• Process customer transactions including returns, refunds, and payment adjustments
• Oversee cash drawer operations and deposit cash into the secure safe
• Maintain retail floor standards and organize stockroom areas
• Provide change and register support to customers and team members
• Demonstrate leadership and support colleagues during your shifts

What We're Looking For

• Retail or pharmacy store experience preferred
• Strong cash handling and point-of-sale system knowledge
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail
• Leadership presence and effective team communication
• Reliability and commitment to consistent work schedules
• Customer service orientation and willingness to support team members
