Shift Lead

Walgreens is hiring a Shift Lead at our Larchmont location in Westchester County to lead store operations and drive team performance during assigned shifts. This full-time position is ideal for a reliable, detail-oriented leader ready to own daily operations and deliver exceptional service to our community.

About the Role

As Shift Lead, you'll be the primary decision-maker when store management is off-duty, responsible for all opening and closing procedures, cash operations, and team supervision. You'll ensure our Larchmont store runs smoothly, the sales floor is properly stocked and presented, and customers receive the pharmacy service Walgreens is known for.

What You'll Do

• Lead all store opening and closing activities, including system start-ups, facility inspections, and security checks
• Manage cash handling operations including safe deposits, customer refunds, change requests, and daily cash reconciliation
• Process product returns and order corrections with accuracy and attention to detail
• Coordinate delivery receiving and manage back-door access during merchandise arrivals
• Organize stockroom inventory and maintain a clean, well-merchandised sales floor
• Supervise team members, ensure compliance with store procedures, and uphold Walgreens' service standards

What We're Looking For

• Prior supervisory or lead experience in retail, pharmacy, restaurant, or hospitality
• Demonstrated proficiency with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate team members
• Commitment to accuracy in transactions and inventory management
• Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
