Shift Lead

Join Walgreens in Asheville, Buncombe County as a Shift Lead, a part-time role that puts you in charge of store operations during assigned shifts. You'll open and close the store, manage critical business functions, and lead by example to ensure every customer has a great experience.

About the Role

As a Shift Lead at this Asheville Walgreens location, you'll take ownership of the store when management isn't present. This is your opportunity to develop leadership skills while maintaining store operations and customer satisfaction. You'll oversee cash handling, merchandise flow, and team coordination during your shifts.

What You'll Do

• Open and close the store, including all necessary system startups and shutdowns
• Manage cash handling responsibilities, including drops to the safe and providing register change
• Receive and process deliveries, including opening the back door and checking in stock
• Process customer transactions with accuracy: product returns, order voids, and refunds
• Prepare the sales floor and stockroom to ensure readiness for each business day
• Demonstrate company values and professionalism to model the culture for team members
