Senior Sales Engineer, ACT - Commvault - Anywhere in the World (Remote)

The Opportunity

Commvault is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join our Federal Sales Team. As a key member of this team, you will drive pre-sales engagement and technical excellence, becoming an expert on Commvault’s products and services. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to understand the presales methodology and how your contributions impact customer decisions that ultimately influence their bottom line and drive revenue for the company.

• Understanding of pre-sales methodologies and processes
• Ability to provide technical guidance during sales cycles
• Trusted advisor role with customers at all levels

Your Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Driving pre-sales engagement and technical excellence in the Federal Sales Team
• Becoming an expert on Commvault’s products and services, including data protection, security, intelligence, and recovery solutions
• Understanding how decisions impact customer’s bottom line and driving revenue for Commvault
• Providing technical guidance during sales cycles to ensure customers make informed choices
• Building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to support the sales process

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must:

• Be a self-motivated, confident professional who thrives in collaborative environments
• Have extensive experience as a Sales Engineer or similar role within the technology industry
• A strong understanding of data protection and cybersecurity solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers at all levels
• Proven ability to drive revenue growth through technical expertise and sales support
