What This Role Involves

In this role at Westpac's Property Finance team, you will be a key partner to our Relationship Managers. You will contribute to the management and growth of relationships with some of New Zealand (nationwide) (nationwide)'s leading property investors, developers, and commercial property owners.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication and proactive engagement.
• Assisting Relationship Managers in identifying opportunities for business growth within the portfolio.
• Providing financial analysis and strategic advice to support clients' investment decisions.
• Managing loan documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Supporting the team in managing risk and mitigating potential issues within client relationships.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within property finance or commercial banking.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Experienced in financial analysis and able to provide strategic advice based on market trends and economic conditions.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with a focus on clear and concise reporting.
