The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Night Carer to join our team at Barchester Healthcare in Guildford, Surrey, UK, UK. As a Residential Senior Carer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our residents. This full-time position requires strong leadership skills to manage and mentor a team of care staff.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of care staff during night shifts, providing training and guidance as needed.
• Ensure all resident needs are met, including personal hygiene, medication administration, and comfort.
• Delegate tasks effectively to maintain smooth operations throughout the night shift.
• Support with the accurate recording and reporting of residents' health statuses and care activities.

Skills & Qualifications

• A recognised qualification in social care or a related field is essential.
• Proven experience as a Senior Carer, preferably within a residential setting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support team members.
• Demonstrated knowledge of medication administration and health & safety protocols.
