What This Role Involves

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with CCIE-level expertise to support a significant transformation of our client's EMEA data centre network estate. The role involves hands-on technical tasks, including but not limited to, designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network architectures using Cisco and Arista technologies.

What You'll Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing advanced network solutions for the EMEA region
  • Maintaining and optimizing existing network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance
  • Participating in the troubleshooting of complex network issues
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers as needed

Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Hold a CCIE certification or equivalent experience with extensive knowledge of Cisco and Arista networking technologies
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale network infrastructures
  • Be proficient in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation tasks
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders
