About the Role

As Senior Multi Media Specialist, you'll own the comprehensive communications and marketing program that elevates the Wyoming State Library's mission across digital and traditional channels. You'll serve as the primary media liaison, translating library services and initiatives into compelling, accessible messages that resonate with the Wyoming library community, state agencies, and the public. This leadership position demands both strategic vision and hands-on execution—developing integrated campaigns, producing multimedia content, and evaluating program impact to drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that increase awareness of Wyoming State Library programs, services, and resources
• Create original multimedia content including graphics, video, photography, and digital assets for web, social media, and print
• Manage the library's digital presence—website updates, social media channels, email communications, and online engagement
• Develop messaging and communications materials for library initiatives, partnerships, and public announcements
• Collaborate with library staff, state agencies, and regional library systems to align communications objectives
• Evaluate campaign performance, gather stakeholder feedback, and refine strategies based on data and outcomes
• Serve as media contact and spokesperson on library-related communications and outreach efforts
• Maintain brand consistency across all communications and ensure accessibility standards are met

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated expertise in multimedia production, graphic design, video editing, or digital content creation
• Proven success developing and executing marketing campaigns or communications programs
• Strong writing and storytelling skills; ability to communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences
• Experience with social media management, website content management systems, and digital marketing tools
• Knowledge of public libraries, library services, or nonprofit communications (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and lead projects while collaborating across teams
• Commitment to serving the public and advancing access to information and library services
