Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Material Strategy and Mill Portfolio plays a critical role in shaping and executing VF’s global material sourcing strategy across apparel brands. This role is responsible for building a strategically aligned mill base by leveraging Supplier Performance Management (SPM) data and brand-specific sourcing inputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to ensure cost-effective, sustainable, and quality-driven material supply chains.
• Leverage SPM data to identify performance gaps and drive continuous improvement in supplier relationships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align mill strategies with business objectives and brand needs.
• Ensure compliance with VF’s sustainability standards and ethical sourcing practices.
• Conduct market analysis to stay informed on trends, technologies, and competitive landscape impacting material strategy.

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in material management or a related field, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Exposure to Supplier Performance Management (SPM) tools and methodologies is preferred.
• A deep understanding of sustainability practices and ethical sourcing principles.
