The Senior Legal Counsel, Data Center post at Bitdeer Technologies Group sits within our Singapore, SG team and focuses on high-stakes legal support for infrastructure-related initiatives. You will partner closely with business units to protect company interests, shape agreements, and navigate the regulatory landscape specific to data centre activities while contributing to strategic decisions in a collaborative setting.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Deliver timely legal advice on all aspects of data centre development, leasing, construction and ongoing operations in Singapore.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including power supply, equipment procurement, construction and colocation contracts.
• Monitor and ensure full compliance with relevant Singapore statutes, industry codes and international standards applicable to data centre facilities.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal and regulatory risks across real-estate, commercial and operational domains.
• Collaborate with external counsel, internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to resolve disputes and support corporate transactions.
• Prepare concise legal opinions and updates for senior leadership on emerging issues affecting data centre activities.

Qualifications

• Qualified to practise law in Singapore or holding an equivalent and recognised foreign qualification with ability to advise on local matters.
• Demonstrable experience as a Senior Legal Counsel or comparable counsel role handling commercial, real-estate or infrastructure contracts.
• Sound working knowledge of legal frameworks surrounding data centre or similar large-scale facility projects.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical abilities paired with clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities independently while working effectively within a wider team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and ethical standards expected of legal practitioners.
