Senior Metrology Technician

About the Role

As Senior Metrology Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our measurement systems and instruments. This is a full-time, on-site position in our regulated laboratory environment where precision, attention to detail, and strict adherence to manufacturing standards directly impact product quality and compliance.

What You'll Do

• Perform calibration, testing, and validation of precision measurement equipment and laboratory instruments
• Conduct quality assurance measurements and verify product specifications meet required tolerances and standards
• Document all measurement data, calibration records, and test results in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Troubleshoot measurement discrepancies and coordinate instrument repairs or recalibration as needed
• Maintain cleanroom protocols and adhere to all company safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements
• Operate laboratory equipment in a production environment with machinery, moderate noise levels, and afternoon shift scheduling

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Metrology Technician or similar precision measurement and calibration role
• Knowledge of calibration procedures, measurement standards, and quality assurance practices
• Ability to lift 40 pounds regularly and work comfortably in a laboratory cleanroom setting
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory compliance requirements
• Ability to work the second shift afternoon schedule in our regulated laboratory environment
• Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow cleanroom standards
• Strong problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills
