The Opportunity
For an international organization based in Manila, we are urgently seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position offering an attractive salary package and the opportunity to work for a challenging role within a dynamic environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Developing applications using Object Oriented design principles and software design patterns to ensure high reusability and maintainability.
Implementing detailed application designs provided by the System/ Solution Architect.
Adhering to version control systems, build and release processes, and coding standards.
Participating in design and code walk-throughs for review and incorporating feedback into development artifacts.
Maintaining technical documentation of all development tasks.
Identifying potential risks in application design and delivery with the team.
Performing unit and integration tests, resolving any resulting issues/bugs.
Developing business systems using the Java/J2EE framework.
Communicating project status, issues, and risk factors to project team members.
Providing maintenance and technical support for existing applications.
Responding promptly to user support and enhancement requests ensuring continued operation of applications.
Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
What You Bring
Candidates must possess:
A Bachelor’s or University degree with at least 5 years of Java development experience.
Strong knowledge of Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
Fluency in English for effective communication.
