Senior Google Ads Specialist for Virtual Coworker (Home Based Full-Time)

Virtual Coworker is hiring a results-driven Senior Google Ads Specialist to take full ownership of paid search performance across our US and Australian markets in this home-based, full-time role based in the United States (nationwide) (nationwide). About the Role

As the Senior Google Ads Specialist at Virtual Coworker, you will lead our entire paid search function end to end. Our audience is US and AU business owners exploring how to hire skilled Filipino virtual assistants, so success here depends on sharp strategy, clean tracking, and benefit-led messaging that converts qualified leads into actual placements.

Key Responsibilities

• Own Google Ads strategy across US and AU accounts, spanning Search (RSA and DSA), Brand, Competitor, and any new campaign types you propose.
• Within your first 30 days, audit and rebuild the existing account: eliminate wasted spend, reallocate budget, clear policy issues, and put a clear performance framework in place.
• Develop campaign structure, ad copy, landing page alignment, bidding approach, and audience targeting on an ongoing basis.
• Steward a combined monthly budget exceeding USD $50,000 with genuine financial discipline.
• Repair and maintain full conversion tracking from Google Ads into our Zoho CRM, plus accurate UTM management so every lead source is attributed correctly.
• Integrate and maintain Google Analytics 4 with the Ads accounts.
• Produce monthly reporting focused on cost per acquisition, pipeline contribution, and placement conversion rate rather than vanity metrics.
• Run keyword research, search term analysis, and negative keyword management, plus hypothesis-driven A/B tests on ads, landing pages, and bidding.
• Track competitor moves through auction insights and act on or justify Google's optimisation suggestions, aiming for a 90%+ optimisation score on both accounts.
• Partner with the US and AU sales managers on lead quality, flag risks and opportunities early, and recommend data-backed website and landing page improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven senior-level experience managing high-spend Google Ads accounts across multiple markets.
• Strong command of conversion tracking, CRM integration (Zoho a plus), UTM attribution, and Google Analytics 4.
• Skilled in keyword strategy, ad copywriting, and structured A/B testing with clear hypotheses and decisions.
• Analytical mindset focused on pipeline and conversions, with the autonomy to be the most informed person in the business about paid search.
