Senior Engagement Manager, AWS ProServe

Join Amazon Web Services Professional Services as a Senior Engagement Manager based in Manhattan. This full-time role offers the opportunity to lead enterprise cloud transformation initiatives from our Grand Central location, working directly with Fortune 500 clients to architect and implement sophisticated AWS solutions at scale.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced program leader to own the end-to-end delivery experience for complex, multi-phase cloud migration and modernization projects. As a Senior Engagement Manager with AWS ProServe, you'll be the primary client-facing leader responsible for ensuring successful outcomes on high-stakes implementations. You'll drive strategy, manage stakeholder relationships, coordinate technical teams, and keep projects aligned with business objectives and timelines.

What You'll Do

• Lead discovery, planning, and execution phases for enterprise AWS solution implementations, managing scope, budget, and timeline across multi-disciplinary teams
• Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client leadership, understanding their business goals and translating them into technical requirements
• Work alongside AWS solutions architects and engineers to design and validate cloud solutions that meet client needs while optimizing for performance and cost
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve escalations, and adapt delivery strategies to keep initiatives on track
• Develop and communicate clear project governance, status reports, and change management protocols
• Build lasting client relationships and identify opportunities for expanded AWS adoption and engagement

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years managing complex technology projects or consulting engagements, preferably in cloud infrastructure or enterprise software implementation
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud services, architecture patterns, and common migration/modernization approaches
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively with executive-level stakeholders
• Excellent project management skills with experience using agile and waterfall methodologies
• Track record of driving client satisfaction and business outcomes on delivery engagements
• Willingness to travel occasionally to support client sites and team collaboration
