Senior Director, Implementation Services

Modernizing Medicine, Inc. (ModMed) is seeking a Senior Director, Implementation Services to lead specialized post-sale onboarding and delivery functions across the United States for our AI-enabled, specialty-specific healthcare cloud platform. This full-time leadership role shapes how healthcare practices realize value from ModMed's technology.

About the Role

As Senior Director, Implementation Services, you will define the strategic direction and own end-to-end execution for all implementation and onboarding teams under your remit. Anchored in ModMed's values of agility, effectiveness, trust, and innovation, you will sharpen resource utilization, shorten revenue-recognition timelines, and elevate customer time-to-value. Working hand in hand with leaders across Sales, Training, Technology, and Operations, you will architect scalable delivery models and position the organization as a trusted advisor to senior healthcare decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and own the strategic roadmap for Implementation Services, aligning it with company growth goals and market direction, and advise executives on offerings, pricing, and go-to-market plans.
• Lead and develop multiple service-line directors and managers, nurturing a high-performance, client-first culture.
• Design an organizational structure that supports geographic growth, complex integrations, and managed services.
• Carry P&L accountability—forecasting, revenue recognition, margin optimization, backlog, concessions, and EBITDA delivery.
• Act as the executive escalation point for marquee clients, building C-suite and board-level relationships and overseeing contracts, SOWs, and SLAs.
• Govern global delivery standards and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid), tracking KPIs such as on-time delivery, satisfaction, and renewals.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to influence roadmap priorities and ensure smooth handoffs, while collaborating with Sales and Marketing on differentiated offerings.
• Champion emerging technologies like AI and automation to improve efficiency and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, IT, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent required; Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• 12+ years leading Professional Services or consulting teams focused on enterprise-scale software implementations.
• 7+ years managing EHR, Practice Management, or Revenue Cycle Management implementations.
• Proven P&L management with a record of hitting revenue and margin targets.
• Strong business acumen, plus exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with C-level and board audiences.
• Deep experience with platforms such as Salesforce or ServiceNow, and expertise in conflict resolution, risk management, and stakeholder alignment.
