About the Role

As Senior Corporate Counsel focused on Contracts, you'll be at the center of Indeed's legal operations, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements. You'll work cross-functionally with product, business development, finance, and operations teams to structure deals, manage risk, and ensure compliance with applicable law. This is an opportunity to shape how Indeed engages with partners, customers, and vendors worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including service agreements, licensing deals, vendor contracts, and partnership arrangements
• Provide legal counsel on contract terms, risk allocation, liability, and compliance implications
• Develop and maintain contract templates and playbooks to improve efficiency and consistency
• Identify and mitigate legal risks in business transactions before they become problems
• Support business teams with legal guidance on contractual obligations and dispute prevention
• Collaborate with outside counsel when specialized expertise is needed

What We're Looking For

• Law degree (J.D.) and admission to the bar in any U.S. state
• 7+ years of corporate legal experience, with substantial focus on contract drafting and negotiation
• Strong knowledge of commercial law, contract structure, and risk management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters with competing priorities
• Experience in technology, SaaS, or high-growth companies is a plus
