About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Care & Support Assistant to join our caring community at St Ives Country House in Ashley Heath, Ringwood. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a supportive and nurturing environment.
- Full-time position with the option of part-time hours
- Includes alternate weekend working shifts
- Shift patterns available: 07:45 – 20:00 (full shift), 07:45 – 14:15 (morning shift)
What You'll Do
The Senior Care & Support Assistant will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents. Key duties include:
- Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and meal preparation
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for the well-being of all residents
- Supporting social and recreational activities to enhance the quality of life for our residents
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A compassionate and empathetic approach towards elderly care
- Previous experience as a Care Assistant or similar role is desirable but not essential
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in a care setting
- Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, families, and staff members
- A valid UK driving license (if applicable for your shift pattern)
