IT – Senior Consultant | Analytics – Functional | Business Analyst

Cloudspace LLC is seeking a Senior Consultant in Analytics – Functional Business Analysis to join our full-time team at our Dixboro office in Washtenaw County, Michigan. If you combine deep technical skills with business acumen and a passion for turning data into action, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

In this consultant-level position, you'll work at the intersection of analytics, data, and business strategy. You'll partner with stakeholders across the organization to identify analytical challenges, design solutions, and implement systems that drive measurable business results. Your technical expertise in business intelligence will be matched by your ability to translate complex data initiatives into clear business value.

What You'll Do

• Develop Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that provide visibility into key business metrics
• Author and optimize SQL scripts to support data extraction, integration, and analytical queries
• Gather business requirements through stakeholder interviews and translate them into analytics specifications
• Design dimensional data models and reporting architectures aligned with business objectives
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure analytics solutions address real business needs
• Perform quality assurance on data pipelines and reporting systems to ensure accuracy and reliability

What We're Looking For

Required Skills & Experience:

• Solid foundation in Business Analysis with a track record in analytics or business intelligence roles
• Hands-on expertise developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models
• Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and preparing analytical datasets
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Availability to work full-time on-site in the Dixboro, Washtenaw County area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Python for data analysis and automation
• Exposure to Databricks or other cloud-native data platforms
