About This Position
We are seeking a talented Senior Animation Expert to join our dynamic team at NetEase Games, based in Singapore (nationwide) (nationwide). As a key member of the creative department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality animations that enhance the player experience across our diverse gaming portfolio.
Core Duties
- Create and animate characters, environments, and other elements to bring game designs to life.
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and developers to ensure animations align with project goals and maintain consistency within the game.
- Optimize animation sequences for performance and efficiency without compromising quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into your work.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the gaming or animation industry, with a focus on character and environmental animations.
- Strong proficiency in animation software such as Maya, Blender, or similar tools.
- Exceptional understanding of principles of animation including timing, weight, squash & stretch, and follow-through & overlapping action.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- A passion for gaming and a desire to contribute to the development of innovative and engaging games.
