About the Role
As a Senior Account Manager focused on unreinforced injection molding intermediates, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key customers while identifying and capturing new market opportunities. This role combines strategic account management with business development, requiring both deep customer understanding and a proactive approach to revenue growth.
What You'll Do
- Manage and expand existing customer accounts within the unreinforced injection molding (intermediates) segment
- Develop and execute strategies to win new business and increase market penetration in your territory
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure customer specifications and performance requirements are met
- Build long-term partnerships with customers by understanding their needs and delivering solutions
- Track market trends and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the Americas region's revenue objectives
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage account profitability
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record in B2B sales, account management, or business development within materials, chemicals, or industrial manufacturing
- Strong understanding of injection molding, plastics, or related manufacturing processes
- Established relationships within the injection molding customer base or adjacent markets (preferred)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently while coordinating across sales, technical, and operational teams
- Results-oriented mindset with ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities simultaneously
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools
