Security Officer FT 3rd, Securitas - New Britain, Connecticut
Position Summary
We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team at Securitas in New Britain, Connecticut. This is a full-time position with shifts from Tuesday to Saturday between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $19 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of people and property in assigned areas
- Monitor premises using security systems, cameras, and other equipment
- Respond to emergencies and report incidents as required
- Patrol designated areas to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
- Perform background checks on personnel entering the premises
- Document all activities in a detailed logbook
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
- CT Guard Card preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills
- A commitment to providing exceptional security services
