About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Event Security Officer to join our team at BEST Crowd Management. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and security of events hosted at Oregon State University. The successful candidate will work closely with event organizers, law enforcement, and other security personnel to maintain order and prevent incidents.

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of attendees by monitoring crowd movements and identifying potential risks.
• Respond to emergency situations in a timely manner and provide first aid if necessary.
• Follow established protocols for handling security breaches, including reporting incidents to relevant authorities.
• Communicate effectively with other security personnel and event staff.

What You Bring

• A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Physical fitness to perform duties effectively, including standing for long periods and handling heavy loads.
