SEC Attorney (VP)

Global Medical Response is seeking an accomplished SEC Attorney (VP) to lead securities compliance and public company legal strategy from our Plano office. This is a senior, on-site leadership position for a seasoned securities lawyer ready to act as a high-trust advisor at the executive level.

About the Role

As the SEC Attorney (VP) at Global Medical Response in Plano, you will own the company's legal compliance program for U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission reporting. You will guide public company strategy, shape how that strategy is executed across the business, and coordinate the work of external legal partners. The position is full-time, on-site, and eligible for both bonus and equity, with a starting salary range of $250,000–$300,000 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Global Medical Response's adherence to SEC reporting requirements and disclosure obligations.
• Serve as a go-to legal advisor on public company matters, from planning through implementation.
• Manage and review the engagement of outside counsel on securities-related work.
• Translate regulatory expectations into practical guidance for leadership and internal stakeholders.
• Help safeguard the organization's standing as a compliant, well-governed public entity.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law and substantial experience in securities or SEC reporting matters.
• Deep familiarity with public company disclosure, governance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to advise executives and influence strategy at a senior level.
• Experience overseeing outside counsel and coordinating complex legal workstreams.
• Strong judgment, leadership presence, and clear communication skills.
