SAP Datasphere Consultant

About the Role

As an SAP Datasphere Consultant at Monocle Solutions, you will partner directly with clients to map their business processes and data requirements, then translate those insights into scalable solutions aligned with SAP's Business Data Cloud strategy. Working under the guidance of senior consultants and alongside cross-functional teams, you will help drive digital transformation initiatives by delivering well-structured data models, dependable pipelines, and insights that support confident decision-making — from initial planning right through to execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their business processes, data landscapes, and analytical goals.
• Configure and tailor SAP Datasphere solutions to fit specific client requirements.
• Build data models that integrate, transform, and harmonise information across SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Resolve technical issues while providing ongoing support and optimisation for client environments.
• Document functional and technical design specifications, including project scope.
• Convert business requirements into practical technical solutions using strong analysis skills.
• Safeguard data quality, consistency, and integrity across every implemented solution.
• Support unit, system integration, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Communicate project progress clearly to stakeholders and team members.
• Keep current with new SAP Datasphere features and best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in data modelling and data cleansing.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, or comparable programming languages.
• Solid grasp of data management principles, including data quality and governance.
• Exposure to business analysis and requirements gathering (1+ years preferred).
• Familiarity with SAP Datasphere or similar platforms is advantageous, as is SAP BW project experience.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP modules such as SD, MM, FICO, HCM, or PS is highly beneficial.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Strong organisational skills, a proactive mindset, and accountability for high-quality delivery.
