ROUTE DRIVER/JOB COACH

HOME OF HOPE is hiring a full-time Route Driver/Job Coach in Vinita, Craig County to connect individuals with meaningful work and provide ongoing employment support. In this role, you'll combine transportation and hands-on coaching to help clients secure jobs and succeed in the workplace.

About the Role

As a Route Driver/Job Coach, you'll play a vital role in our mission to build vocational pathways for the clients we serve. You'll manage transportation routes while delivering direct employment coaching, advocacy, and support that transforms lives through work.

What You'll Do

• Drive clients to job sites, employment assessments, and vocational training locations throughout the Vinita area
• Build and maintain professional relationships with employers to create and expand job opportunities
• Coach and support clients through job placement, from application preparation through first-day readiness
• Facilitate client retention in vocational employment through ongoing workplace support and troubleshooting
• Advocate for clients to address employment barriers and secure necessary workplace accommodations
• Coordinate access to social services and resources clients need to sustain employment
• Assess client strengths, interests, and support needs to match them with suitable work environments
• Maintain detailed records and communicate progress with supervisors and service partners

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; reliable transportation
• Genuine commitment to employment support and vocational rehabilitation principles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse clients and employers
• Ability to manage multiple routes and clients while staying organized and detail-oriented
• Patience, empathy, and advocacy mindset; ability to help clients navigate obstacles
• Flexibility to work a full-time schedule that may include evening or weekend hours to meet client needs
• High school diploma or equivalent; experience or certification in job coaching or supported employment preferred
