Position Summary

Axios Medical Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate shift in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Carolinas Medical Center. This position will begin on August 17, 2026, and end on November 14, 2026. The role involves working night shifts, specifically from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care in the ICU setting, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on individual needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Document all patient interactions and medical interventions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).

Skills & Qualifications

• A current, valid RN license in North Carolina is required.
• ICU experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prioritization and multitasking capabilities are essential.
