KeyBank is seeking an RFP Sales Writer to join our Institutional Advisors team at our Brooklyn, Ohio office. In this full-time position, you'll develop client-facing materials and support our institutional sales professionals in winning business and expanding our investment advisory revenue.
About the Role
As the RFP Sales Writer for Institutional Advisors, you'll manage the complete proposal response process for institutional clients while organizing critical sales support for our field teams. Your work directly enables KeyBank's institutional advisory business to grow by translating our capabilities into compelling, professional client documentation.
What You'll Do
- Lead the response process for institutional client requests for proposals, coordinating input across departments to deliver comprehensive, timely submissions
- Develop new business materials and sales collateral that articulate KeyBank's institutional advisory services and competitive advantages
- Produce polished, client-facing content that communicates complex investment solutions in clear, persuasive language
- Coordinate sales support resources and materials for Segment and Field sales professionals focused on institutional markets
- Manage proposal schedules, quality standards, and compliance requirements to ensure every submission meets our professional standards
- Collaborate with advisory teams, subject matter experts, and sales professionals to capture and communicate our institutional expertise
What We're Looking For
- Professional writing experience in financial services, business development, or sales proposals
- Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate institutional advisory and investment concepts
- Strong project management capabilities with skill at managing multiple proposals under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning proposal management systems
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to error-free, professional writing
- Ability to work effectively across teams including sales, operations, and compliance
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
