Role Overview
As a Resident Assistant at our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, you'll play a vital role in supporting the daily care and quality of life for our residents. This position offers a clear pathway into the healthcare field, with the opportunity to earn your Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification while gaining hands-on experience in a professional setting. You'll work alongside experienced clinical staff in a team-oriented environment dedicated to resident comfort and dignity.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including hygiene, grooming, toileting, and dressing
- Support nursing staff with patient care tasks and facility operations
- Monitor and report resident comfort, needs, and any changes in condition to nursing personnel
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident living spaces
- Provide compassionate, respectful interaction with residents and their families
- Participate in assigned shifts across day, evening, and night schedules as needed
Who We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED preferred; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to lift, move, and assist residents safely
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
