About the Role

As a Repair and Tool Technician at Home Depot in Graham, Alamance County, you'll diagnose and restore small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electrical devices to peak working condition. This full-time, on-site position can be based in one of our stores with a Tool Rental Center or in one of our dedicated repair centers, where you'll combine technical know-how with a customer-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electrical tools to determine the necessary repairs.
• Carry out repairs and routine servicing to keep equipment safe, reliable, and fully operational.
• Advise customers and team members on suitable equipment options and replacement recommendations.
• Maintain rental and repair units so they remain in dependable, ready-to-use condition.
• Support daily operations within a store Tool Rental Center or a designated repair center.

Qualifications

• Practical experience repairing and maintaining small engines, outdoor power equipment, or handheld electrical devices.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to evaluate units and troubleshoot faults accurately.
• Comfort working directly with customers and offering clear, helpful equipment guidance.
• Reliable, detail-oriented approach to servicing and maintaining tools and equipment.
• Willingness to work on-site in Graham, Alamance County, in a store or repair center setting.
